I’m very passionate about a couple things, photography & women’s rights.  This is a combination of both:

“I’ve had this book for a while now; I am disgusted that I still own it.

Terry Richardson has been in & out of the spotlight for sexually harassing the models he works with for years. When models come out with stories about him, they’re silenced & he continues to work with companies like Vogue, Prada & Gucci. People try to pass his behavior off as just an artist, an unpredictable artist, that’s bullshit & this type of behavior should not be allowed to continue. 
Don’t blame the victims! Some of the models he’s worked with, haven’t been molested by him & that’s great, those models had strong enough personalities to put him off. He preys on the weak, that’s what people like him do. Just because a girl doesn’t have the emotional & mental awareness yet to know how to deal with scum like him, does not make them deserve what happens to them.
Do not support people like Terry Richardson. Don’t reblog his stuff, don’t buy his books & if you’re going to talk about him, talk about how he abuses his position of power & sexually takes advantage of the models he works with. “

Re-blogging this because there’s been another girl who’s come forward with her story on how he assaulted her. 

"I think they could tell that I was in shock. It seemed like they had done this a million times. Terry Richardson was standing across from the couch, and he asked, ‘So do you have a boyfriend?’ This was the first personal question he asked me. I told him yes because I did have a boyfriend at the time, and he was like, ‘Oh wow, I’m so sorry! I always mean to ask that first.’ He was smiling while he was saying this, too, and he looked over to his assistant and said, ‘Oh damn, I always mean to ask that first.’ And then she was like, ‘Oh, we should have asked that!’ It was a complete slap in the face. That’s the only way I can describe how that felt."

It seems like his assistant & himself were sort of apologizing & acknowledging the fact he never once asked for consent.
