New series alert!
With most art projects, the initial idea never comes out on the other side unscathed. It transforms and takes on a new meaning, usually for the better; this series is no different. It began with the exploration of an emotion and ended with an epiphany regarding the difference between a photograph of a brief moment in time and the moment itself.
Sometimes I do commercial work!

When I get hired to do commercial work, it's a really fun challenge to mesh my style with what a client wants. In the next couple weeks I have some shoots that I'm really excited about too! Hooray for collaboration!

New work! Feb 14th!
4 of my new, never before seen pieces will be at Dose Market FEB 14TH.
Dose is the essential Chicago experience with 100+ of the best and most highly curated maker and small biz markets around.
Along with some of my new work, there will be the awesome work of Julia Haw, Caroline Jacobson & other lovely people.
ATTENTION:
I’m currently looking for subjects for my new series.
The shoot will take about 1-2 hours and is essentially a head shot, no nudity. The theme is anger.
You just sit there, we talk as I take photos. It’s very easy. Must be able to get in touch with your angry side.
